  • Victoria DeFreitas – Director

Following my graduation from  Wheelock College in 1991, I began my position  as director of Ridge Hill. In 1994  I  became the owner of  the Ridge Hill School .From my experiences as a teenager taking care of young children,  I knew that I wanted a career in Early Childhood Education.  In the 20 years since I became owner of Ridge Hill, building a successful Private Early Childhood Program has been a truly rewarding and fulfilling experience.

I am always grateful to the families of Ridge Hill who are truly supportive, caring  people fully invested in the education of their children. Each year we develop a strong, open-ended ,developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters a positive, warm and loving   learning environment.  The teachers are dedicated professionals who  make it their goal to develop  strong connections with our families.  Each day I find joy in the happy faces of the children I see in the classrooms !

I live in Scituate with  my husband, 2 sons and our family pets ,  Lilly and Roxy. As a  family ,we enjoy boating, fishing and loving everything about the coastal  town we  are fortunate to live in.

“May you walk through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life.”
